The ENTRYSCAPE Open Source application stack¶
EntryScape is a Linked Data based information management platform based on Open Source and Open Standards.
This website provides an entry point for the whole EntryScape application stack, including links to the code repositories for frontend, backend and libraries.
The EntryScape stack consists of the following parts:
- Catalog - manages and publishes data catalogs according to the DCAT-AP metadata standard.
- Terms - manages terminologies intended for reuse according to the SKOS standard.
- Workbench - manages entities using Linked Data and interoperable metadata profiles.
- Registry - manages data sources, harvests and converts between metadata standards. Metadata validation is automated and data publishers receive immediate feedback.
- Models - manages information models to build, reuse, adapt and share using Linked Data. A data modeling tool to ensure interoperability.
- Blocks - embeds information stored in EntryScape into web pages, e.g. build a data portal on a standard web page with or without a CMS using metadata managed by EntryScape.
- Pipelines - an ETL toolkit for (meta)data transfer from/to EntryScape.
